August 26, 2023 – The entire seminarian student body and priest faculty were present to pray a Miraculous Medal Novena led by Father Keith Chylinski, Rector, and had the opportunity to tour the construction site for the new Lower Gwynedd campus. For many of the seminarians, it was the first time they had been there since the groundbreaking ceremony last December and could see the progress of the buildings first-hand. While they were there, they were able to sign a steel beam which will be one of the last ones to be hoisted up into the new structure for the Student Life Center. The beam’s precise location will likely be in the new refectory above the Humilitas window, which was previously found in the Chapel of Saint Martin of Tours on the Overbrook campus.
August 22, 2023 – The steel work for the Student Life Center and College Dorm is taking shape and happening quickly.
August 15, 2023 – The concrete foundations for the Student Life Center and the College Dorm have been poured and the steel work has started this week.
August 6, 2023 – The northern foundation wall of the college dormitory have been built, the shaft for the college building elevator has been completed, the concrete floors have been poured for the library section (lower portion) and the office section (mid portion) of the student life building, the upper section of the student life building (refectory/auditorium) has been filled with packable dirt and stone, and an access road on the east side of Alexandria Hall is being filled in.
