June 27, 2024 – We are very happy to share a couple of photos of our new Immaculate Conception Chapel! Things are really moving along, including the Terrazzo floor, the Stations of the Cross, and the installation of some of the stained glass.
June 22, 2024 – For the Student Life Center, sidewalks are still being poured around the building, more doors are being installed in the office area, library shelving has been installed, the chapel fire staircase is being installed, the main floor of the chapel has been poured and is being polished, the kitchen food area continues to have equipment installed, exits signs are being installed, and classroom carpeting is being installed. For the College Dormitory, more doors are being installed in the residence area, faculty room cabinets and fridges have been installed, the student lounge refrigerator and stove are being installed, the chapel pointing and ceiling will be completed shortly, and light sconces are being installed in the stairwells. For the Theology Dormitory, exit doors near the chapel are being reinstalled with outer handles and locks, the Sacrarium Pipe is being installed, the Bishop guest suite flooring has been laid, and the office furniture for spiritual directors has arrived.
June 15, 2024 – Take a look at this recent time lapse video showcasing the progress of construction on our Lower Gwynedd campus – it is moving at top speed! The construction of the new campus remains on schedule to start the 2024-2025 academic year on the Lower Gwynedd campus in August. The Student Life Center shown here will house the Immaculate Conception Chapel, the Refectory, and the Library, along with classrooms and faculty/staff offices.
June 15, 2024 – For the College Dormitory, the sidewalks are near completion, the exterior and interior doors are being installed, and the air conditioning is installed and functioning. for the Student Life Center, the south side is being pointed, interior doors are being installed, the chapel fire stairwell is being installed, the glass interior windows are installed, the kitchen and food service equipment is being installed, the center floor design is being laid down, and classroom lighting controls have been installed. For the Theology Dormitory, faculty suites and student suites are near completion and the chapel flooring is finished.
June 5, 2024 – For the Student Life Center, industrial kitchen equipment is being installed, decorative columns are being installed in the Refectory, drop ceilings are being installed in the office area, the vigil lamp was installed in the Chapel, the cabinetry was installed in the sacristy, whiteboards are being installed in the classrooms, and carpet is being installed in the library. For the College Dormitory, sidewalks are being poured, sinks have been installed, and carpet is being laid in residence rooms. For the Theology Dormitory, the chapel flooring has been laid, the Dean of Men office doors have been installed, and the faculty flooring has been laid down.
