Fr. James P. Olson has been a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1988. He is currently the pastor of St. John Paul II Parish in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. In addition to his work in parishes, he spent 26 years as a priest in the education apostolate, serving in diocesan Catholic high schools and college campus ministry. He has had numerous auxiliary ministries that have enabled him to experience some of the fascinating ways the Roman Catholic Church serves the People of God. He has been on the faculty at St Charles Seminary since 2003.
